Free CPR Class to the first 8 people who sign up. White County NEGA SORBA is offering an instructor-led CPR class on Saturday, March 14th, 2015, from 12:00 - 2:00, at the White County Family YMCA. This CPR class will teach the techniques of how to provide oxygen to the brain of a patient who is not breathing and doesn’t have a pulse, as a means of keeping the nerves of the brain alive long enough for emergency medical services to provide support. This is extremely vital information to have as we navigate through the technical trails of cycling and life in general.
The class is Free (though there is a $5 nominal fee for participants who would like to receive a CPR card). These classes typically cost in excess of $50. There is only room for 8 students, so the first 8 people to respond with “Reserve me for CPR” will receive a registration confirmation.
