It’s time for the next Trail Work Day for Yonah Preserve Trails!  Come be a part of this wonderful project going on in White County!

Date:   Saturday, January 31st, 2015

Time:  9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (stay for as little or long as you can)

Where:  White County Family YMCA off of Asbestos Road in Cleveland, Georgia

Volunteers from the North Georgia area, including local hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts, White County-SORBA, and other just plain ol’ do-gooders, are gathering to continue the clearing of Section Two of the unofficially dubbed “Gateway Trail,” which will lead to the larger 20-mile trail on Yonah Preserve.   We have tools but need YOU to help use them.  So get your work gloves and boots on and come have a great morning of trail building.  Every set of hands helps!  We need help doing all sorts of things:  root-pulling, stump-digging, limb-cutting, rock-moving and more.  There are jobs for everyone, no matter your size.

And when you’re not busy BUILDING the trails, please come out and walk, jog or mountain bike!
